Night time Medidation Number 1
Washing Away the Day

The day has ended
like everyday before it.
Happiness comes from mindfulness
Mindfulness comes from rememberance
that all the days are like the day before --
  shadows and impermenant.
As I sleep, I wash away thought of the day
like a rivers carries a sailboat downstream.
And when I wake, may my consciousness be open
and receptive to all the world will share with me

Morning Meditation Number 1
Like My Dog

May I live today as my dog
able to do as I please --
enjoying every moment.
May I work like my dog,
enjoying the moment and helping others enjoy themselves.
May I be aware like my dog
absorbind every sound and sight the world opens to me.
May I live today as my dog,
loyal and compassionate to myself and others.
